Wetherby Nearly There!

The Wetherby Whaler is to temporarily close its restaurant in the town for a £200,000 expansion and refit. Janine Murphy, Co-owner of the Wetherby Whaler, said; “We are delighted to be investing in Wetherby and this commitment to the town demonstrates our confidence in the area. “The restaurant in Wetherby is going from strength to strength and it is extremely important for us that our customers have a fantastic dining experience in the best possible environment. “We are very proud of the reputation the Wetherby Whaler has for the quality of its fish and chips and this major investment in the Wetherby restaurant will enable us maintain and build on this.”

As part of the investment, the restaurant will undergo a complete refurbishment, including a new state of the art kitchen, platform lift, and toilets. The restaurant will be closed from Monday January 20 until Thursday February 12 but the takeaway will remain open throughout the expansion.
